As a project manager, I show the way, we go the way
At work, I once realized that to be successful I needed to learn to get used to being alone. People will never see your nightly efforts, and they won't know what you've sacrificed. And so, it's easy for them to judge what you have as mere luck. But anywhere on the career path, there are people trying. Having no one by your side does not mean being lonely. Because I am not the only one who has to make sacrifices, nor am I the only one who is striving for the goal.
With responsibility on my shoulders, I took a step back also took a more holistic view. I was no longer jealous of the faster runners, and I stopped looking down on the people I left behind. Because in the end, when they reach the finish line, each person has a medal and their own story to tell. That's why when any of my members achieve something, it's their success. When any mistake occurs, I am responsible for it. Blaming objective causes is a waste of energy. I choose to blame myself twice: The first time is a lesson, and the second one is forgiveness.
